Florentine Wild Garden

Foothills of Florence. Italy

We were commissioned to design a bespoke wild garden for a newly renovated villa nestled in the idyllic foothills of Florence.

The brief called for a garden that would feel entirely natural—an immersive landscape that would attract butterflies and pollinators while seamlessly integrating with the ancient olive groves that embrace the property.

Our design fulfills this vision, embodying both the aesthetic grace and ecological sensitivity characteristic of the Tuscan countryside.

A carefully orchestrated composition of native and regionally sympathetic species forms the backbone of the garden. Fragrant, pollinator-friendly plants were thoughtfully selected to invite a rich variety of insects and butterflies, fostering a thriving, biodiverse habitat.

The final result is a refined synthesis of ecological responsibility and understated luxury—a timeless outdoor sanctuary that feels both cultivated and deeply rooted in its surroundings.
